We bought this printer to support our working from home and to replace a several year old Epson that has served us well. Big mistake. This HP printer did not work from the get go. When loaded with paper, it would still give us an indication that the paper tray was empty. When we were able to convince the printer that it had paper, it would pull 2 or 3 sheets at a time, print half pages, or sometimes not print at all. We also were not able to get it to line up preformatted documents to prints.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It took some work to get it connected and working with my computer only because I am a part of the Instant Ink Program. They had to connect it. The printer is a good one.

Scanning anything requires you to manually scan each page. Copying using the automatic document feeder is very slow. Stay away from this printer if you are using it for anything other than occasional use. Can't see how this was ever rated one of the best all-in-one printers. I'll read the fine print better next time.
