Purchased this product for light printing service and potential compatibility with Linux based operating systems. I can't testify to it's longevity since I haven't had it that long but print and scan quality is good for my uses. As far as Linux support, setup was not brainless plug-and-play but wasn't rocket science either. After some tinkering both printing and scanning work through my wireless router. (I haven't set up the fax so I can't comment on that.)

I replaced a smaller HP printer with this one and love it. Very clear printing and I especially love the scanning tray on top for multipage documents. A time saver that prints every time and with instant ink I spend zero time with my printer on my to-do list. Recommend!
