I just purchased this printer so it is too soon to know how it will last over time. I replaced my old hp printer that I had around 7 years. It needed a new print head. So far this printer prints very clear photos. And the documents print fast. Its very good so far. It was easy to setup.

I bought this printer about a month ago. I am not happy with it at all. The construction is flimsy; the paper drawer is difficult to open and jams; when printing from the computer, it won't quit printing at the desired number; when I select "Cancel" it just keeps blinking until I turn it off and on; the colors are dark, not bright.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I can wholly understand why issues with the paper tray, unfinished print jobs and poor print quality would be a tremendously frustrating combination. I can’t tell from your review what’s causing these problems or whether they’re related, so I suggest that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and guide you through any applicable troubleshooting. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. - Model number
- Serial number
- Your location
- Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)

I had to buy a new printer, my old one, have had for a long time and wasn’t good enough for work. I needed a top feeder for work docs to scan.
I looked on line for a while and despite some of the reviews for this one going from bad to great, I decided to buy it, I just hoped it didn’t go like the bad reviews LOL It was a bit over what I wanted to pay but it was easy to connect to my wifi, I have it on “quiet mode” - bit noisy otherwise. I also have it in another room from my wifi & it works great...the copy speed is like any other copier, works well, it does the job! Happy! :)

Didn't realize that the ink cartridges that come with printer are just temporary. Evidently the real cartridges were sent in a separate mailing and we didn't get them. lasted 9 days.
