This 8025e replaces a 5252 the served well, with some quirks, for 7 years. Difficult set up, but once squared away, it's a good multi purpose device.

I did not see much difference between this printer which was supposed to be better than the Envy printer. This one takes more space not any faster fewer features & the current features e.g. filling the tray is more work to open & tray sliding feature is not so great, you can't put anything in front of the tray or else it will be in the way of the copy going out. It has a hidden tray that you can use so the copy can go upward but it is not so great.

Mine came with a 60's looking pale white face, ugly. So i put a couple of 4x6 photos on it. There is no external/ aux USB port to print from a flash drive. Bummer. I noticed how tiny the ink cartridges are, as compared to my other HP printer. More frequent ink replacemnt, more cost. Bummer. It'd be a hassle to pack it up for return. So the copies are good quality and it prints fairly fast, when its not making a lot of strange noises and seems to be "initializing " for a few mins before it decides to handle some print requests.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am happy with the new printer.
My only complaint is that screen on the new printer is alot smaller than my old hp 8600 OFJ pro because of this when I go to scroll down my finger will overlap and choose something I did not wand I miss the old larger arrows.
Printing is excellent and wifi works well other than the screen size it's a great printer.
