Had to switch from another brand to this more robust and reliable HP. Fairly easy set up for PC and mobile. Printing is clear with no streaks. I like the ease of auto document feed,and am curious to try the auto refill ink feature. Overall am very happy with this purchase.

Why only 3 stars? SETUP! Took two days. I think it took so long to download from web that it was interrupted. Had to use my phone; would NOT let me use computer option. Then told me it was offline; ran trouble shooter which tolde I had to turn printer on--it was lit up like a Christmas Tree. Tried for two weeks to make it my default printer; finally worked. SETUP is not for technologically challenged--way too difficult and frustrating. Had to use my entire profane vocabulary and felt really stupid and old after this ordeal. By the way, it does print documents nicely once the setup trial is completed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Acceptable, but not as good as previous Officejet

Feels cheaper/flimsier than my previous Officejet 8620. The control panel is small and the cartridges "snap" in instead of "slide" in (the slide in is a better design). The only real plus is the sleeker appearance of it. It does appear to print well, though. I've printed on transparencies, photo papers, card stock and plain paper. All have performed acceptably.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Seems to be a good printer. My only complaint is that you have to manually pull out the plastic paper tray tab to prevent the printed pages from falling on the floor (my older HP printer did this automatically). Also, I'm not sure if I am a fan of the Instant Ink program yet.

I am very disappointed. I think it communicates with my 2 laptops about 20% of the time. I am constantly restarting it as I have robust wifi. I am weary and haven't even had this printer for a month. I want to throw it out of the window. I'm frustrated and I cannot communicate easily to gain help without reading the usual pre-written answers in "help" sites which I've tried without success (always says the same thing: check wifi, restart, etc..)

This printer is incredible for home or small office. Is easy to set up 100% wireless. Amazing features automatic double sided printing, Individual ink cartridges, (important if you logo is a strong primary color). It also has fast high quality scanning/copying with settings for photo's or documents. Paper tray holds about 1/2 of a ream of paper making paper loading a less often chore. I would rate this printer as the perfect office companion.
