scan from PC doesn't work, no support for software

Tried HP care pack support line - it just hangs up on me. Tried main support line - I tried two days in a row - just got "we are experiencing higher than normal support calls" for 1.5 hours. I had to hang up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

On Off button doesn't always work

I Googled the problem and it seems to be characteristic of these printers yet no where was there a solution on the web. To HP's credit, the Virtual Assistant did have a solution.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, the instructions that came with the printer were not enough, so I had to go to YouTube for more help. The steps on the printer display panel were straight forward, but the part about the "scan" was somewhat confusing. Eventually, I had to go the "HP Doctor APP" to get the scanner working.
Finally, the price of the printer was very reasonable, and the quality of the printed copies are great. However, when I ran short of paper, the paper tray was somewhat difficult to pull out. Otherwise, this is a great printer!
I would recommend this to a friend!
