I purchased this on on the advice of the HP representative I spoke with. He advised is jest as good as my previous one that broke 2 days out of warranty. It’s not the same at all. Although the the quality of prints is there the speed is horrifyingly slow. And the ink cartridges are also very small I would have trashed this thing already if it wasn’t for instaink.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Regarding the slow printing, often just updating the printer’s firmware can help. You can check to see whether your printer’s firmware is due for an update and download that here:

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this printer to replace an HP Model 8510 all-in-one printer that I've had for several years. Used it for a couple weeks now and it meets my personal home office needs very nicely. Quality printing. However, I paid the exact same price for this model as I did the HP 8510 and I find that the 8510 had one very convenient feature that I particularly liked and miss on this printer. That feature is that the 8510 automatically fed and flipped the paper for two-sided copies without having to manually flip the paper to copy the second side. Also, the 8510 seemed to be constructed a little better than this Model 8025. The paper tray in this model can be a little troublesome to remove/replace and the movable adjustment holders for various paper/envelope sizes don't move as smoothly as on the 8510 paper tray. I believe the 8510 is slightly better better designed and constructed than this mocel.

My previous HP was still in plastic and looked perfect, but I had to download drivers from the internet or a CD for my wireless. I had to do nothing. I still cannot believe how easy it was to finally get a new one to fit the color of my furniture. Best decision I ever made
