Still love my 8600

As I unpacked this 8025 printer, I noted how much less solid it seemed than my 8600. Since I'm having problems with wi-fi in the house, I cannot give it a comment. But already know I will be giving the 8025 away to a charity who might need/want a newer printer. I'm sticking with my old 8600. Loading the ink was a pain! Got very frustrated!!!!!
Thanks, anyway. I hope the 8600 lives forever!!!! LOVE THAT PRINTER!!!!!

Can't Handle Paper!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just unboxed my new OfficeJet 8025 this week, and it has given me nothing but headaches. Number one problem: It loves to grab multiple pieces of paper from the paper tray to print a single page. It has used as many as seven sheets of paper to print a single page, 1/2 on the first page, an inch on the second page, a line on the third page, etc. until fully seven sheets of paper were ruined. The paper tray sticks like mad, and you have to remove the paper catching tray to get the paper tray to pull out. Getting it back in is just as tough. I have owned HP printers for decades, and this is the worst I've ever seen.

First, I recommend you go through this troubleshooting guide for document feeders that either put through too many sheets or pick up none at all:
- support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01728503

This guide on paper jams might also help:

- Model number
- Serial number

I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies, so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link: support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this printer about a couple weeks ago, so far I’m impressed. It has a quick print volume, and it wasn’t to complicated to set it up. Reasonably priced for a good product. Oh, and I like the 8 months free ink.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The black and white color combo is deceiving. It’s really gray and white. Also the paper tray is poor quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had my new printer for just over a week. This is my fifth hp printer since the late 80s! Each one has been more exciting. The features are amazing. So easy to install and set up and to connect with my other devices. The auto ship ink is a definite bonus.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the printer less than a month again a tried to set it up following the very skimpy directions. No manual included. The paper try would not work correctly and the tech support person was of no help. VERY FRUSTRATED WITH THIS PRINTER!!!! Will probably send it back if I can't get it to work.
