It was very easy to set up and get it running, the print quality is good and I appreciate the double sided print feature, which I didn't have with my old printer. I've always done well with HP products and I expect this to continue the tradition.

The HP 8020 printer was sent to replace the HP 6890 printer which I used from Dec 2017 until it broke for no reason in Feb 2020. This printer feels cheap and unreliable. It lacks some of the features that my older printer had including 2-sided copying. It also has a tendency to copy papers crookedly because the feeder is not effective- it grabs the paper on one side and pulls it through on an angle. I am really disappointed with this printer as the 6890 was a really good, reliable, versatile printer. This one is mediocre at best.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

With that in mind, I’ll offer some resources and information I hope will help.
My main point of concern is the feeder issue. It definitely seems like it’s not working properly. Because I can’t tell from your review what might be causing that, I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation. To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
- Model number
- Serial number
- Your location
- Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)
I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies. You can verify the warranty using the following link: support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty

Although I have only had my new printer (HP Officejet Pro 8025) a short while I am enjoying in a lot. The feature that I like best is that the user can lot more paper in its enclosed bin that models where paper in loaded in an exposed position on top of the printer. The print quality is superior. The only complaint that I have is that it is a little hard to setup especially as a network printer.
