Based on the description on the HP website I thought I was getting a multifunction printer at a great price. I didn’t expect that copies and scans can only happen via the phone app. In other words if I want to make a copy or a scan, I need to take a picture of the image with my phone and then stream it to the printer. While the image quality is good this extra step is a pain. What happens if I lose my phone? What happens if my WiFi is down? If I had know about the features ahead of time I would not have purchased this printer.
It’s a nice small printer that does its job and has a small enough footprint that it does not overwhelm the space. I also like the options provided for my future ink needs.
I received excellent service in setting up my Tango X printer . This printer has a sleek and very attractive design and doesn’t take up a lot of desk space. It prints very quickly and the print is very clear. So glad it is white - a beautiful design.
This was extremely packaged well and all parts were included. Pros: The software was easy to develop ,download my phone and installed quickly. The Tango is incredibly lightweight and I can carry it with me to my office and back home without much of an issue and taking up space in my office bag or backpack. The aesthetic, forward-thinking design was rather amazing and is incredible to look at in my office space and home and is my favorite part of the printer.. The outcome is great looking pictures/copied items.Cons: If I wanted to scan or copy something, I could only do this via my smart phone. I would prefer to be able to do this via multiple devices including my desktop and laptop. The scanner feature was rather annoying as i usually have to scan multiple pages which becomes quite a challenge and if your phone has low resolution camera, it makes it much more of a challenge trying to get a clear picture. The print speed is slow especially if you`re not doing black & white.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Small profile and attractively designed printer. We love the simplicity of the design - look and feel. Print processing is fast and we have not experienced any paper jams or feed errors. Print quality of paper and photos seems above average.Set-up instructions lacked detail, both the quick set-up and more advanced instructions. I was unable to locate device password until I stumbled upon it when finally printing the instructions using the device. No where could I find this suggestion. While I am above average, technical capabilities, it still took me some time to figure this out.The device top does not seem to latch or settle evenly when in the closed or printing position. Could be specific to the unit I received, but it almost appears the white unit top is warped.Improve the set-up instructions and look into quality of packaging or lid assembly would be my only suggestions.
My first wireless printer. I like that it is light & compact. It has to be set-up thru your I phone. Took my time and was easier than I thought it would be. Prints photos & print cartridges can be delivered when ink runs low.
Printers and trouble have always gone together for me, something doesn’t work like it’s supposed to . For the first time, the Tango is just trouble free, things just happen as promised. If this keeps up, I’ll have to change my mind about printers!
