Do not be fooled! This does NOT have a scanner!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Read the title. The printer is a great as just a wireless printer, but that's all it can do. I normally dunk on people who complain simply because they didn't read the fine print, but the descriptions are quite misleading to try to make you think it has a scanner. Aside from that, though, the compactness and low price are really the printer's only draws, and in those respects, it's just fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife found this HP Tango printer she wanted. It works very well, prints great documents and photos and the icing on the cake is their Instant Ink program. The ink program automatically sends ink to your address and is monitored by the printer itself. It's a small monthly cost to participate and it's much more affordable than buying ink cartridges on your own. It's also less expensive than refilling cartridges. A great deal all around! One of our reservations with these ink printers is the cost of replacement ink. It's normally so expensive. The Instant Ink program is a wonderful idea and we'll stick with HP because of it.

I bought my Tango about a month ago. I love the size because I can keep it on a shelf in my dining room. I often work on my MacBook Air at the dining room table, and to have a small printer handy is very convenient. I can print from my iPhone as well. I needed tech help to configure my Tango to my laptop. The technician was very patient and courteous. It was a wise investment for me. Thanks, HP!!

I live in an apartment that has a wireless network installed by Spectrum. Mu laptop and TV both work. My new HP Tango will not set up on wireless. It searches for hours but does not connect. I have tried with assistance of Smart HP no luck. The site asks for numbers that are no where to be found, on the paper work or the box it was shipped in. I'm ready to send it back for a refund unles you can do something.

Compact, Photo Center Quality Printer

The printer arrived in a colorful box and was well packaged with unpacking instructions clearly marked. Included in the box were the printer, a grey base, power cable, starter color and black and white ink cartridges, starter pack of photo paper, and set up instructions. Set up took under ten minutes, including the time required to download the HP Smart app and create an account. The printer immediately connected to my WiFi and was visible by all of the smart devices on my network.Included in the HP Smart App is the ability to sync the printer with Facebook, Instagram and smart phone camera rolls. This is probably my favorite feature since it allows for printing photos from my digital collection on demand, anywhere. The quality of the photos is extremely good; however, the printer seems to use a large amount of ink when printing each photo. The printer has an adjustable input tray so it can be used to print normal documents or photos. Normal documents printed quickly and were of good quality.There is a blue status light and a red "cancel job" button; however, the red button is only illuminated when the printer is actively printing. I`m not a fan of the red light that`s always illuminated when printing but the cancel job button does come in handy.The two ink cartridges that were included are starter and it seemed as though the printer was using a considerable amount of ink to print photos; however, the quality of the photos is worth it.The printer is very compact and neatly fit in a corner on my bookshelf, tucked away so well that you can`t even tell it`s there if it`s not printing.

Little printer, big on quality

This is a great, little printer. It`s compact in size, but the quality of the photos I printed were amazing. I was also able to print a document which was very good in quality. Printing was surprisingly fast for photos. Prints were dry and did not smudge once printed. The required app download to my mobile phone was easy to find, easy to download and easy to maneuver through.
