With all the printers from several manufacturers available to purchase, I seem to have been lucky, yes, very fortunate actually, to have chosen a new HP Envy Photo 7855, incorporating copying/printing (of course), scanning, fax, photo, and web (thus my orders are sent from my laptop in one room to the printer in another (how about that for convenience?). I have needed the HP Printer daily to print letters, copy photos to send out by e-mail, and the scanner to copy files, one set to mail out, the other to be filed...and this done quickly and accurately. Moreover this printing utilizes excellent HP ink that dries quickly to really black lettering, and neither 'runs' nor fades, yielding a 'professional appearance in seconds!. I really do not need all this "professional work"....but I really appreciate it, and I am proud of it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
