My older HP printer stopped scanning because of Apple OS upgrade. This is essentially the same printer, scanning works. Added advantage that this printer is faster and quieter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Do to problems outside of my control I had to wait until today the get my computer installed. My previous printer was an Envy 4500 which gave me excellent and long service. But this new Envy Photo 7855 is from a totally different galaxy. The features are astounding, the speed and print quality could not be better. I am simply enthralled with my newest purchase, so glad the printhead in my old printer finally gave up the ghost! I would recommend this new printer to anyone and everyone for home copying use.
