[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far the printer has fit my needs but seems to shut itself off alot when not being used, requiring me to press the on button each time I want to use it. (Shouldn't it go into sleep mode and awake when a print job is sent to it?) It also has a paper catcher that goes out when printing is taking place but doesn't go back after it is done.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm happy to have this new printer. It works well and is pretty simple to use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just purchased this printer. I have had HP photo printers in the past and they have been great. However this one is not. I followed the directions and it said to calibrate. I did and a message came up “unsuccessful”. I tried several times but no success. I tried copying a picture and everything had a red tone while the original picture had no red. I tried printing from a document and it also came out red. The website is not helpful to solve these problems.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello,
I'm so sorry that you've had a disappointing experience with the printer's photo quality so far. We always hold ourselves to a high standard of quality with our printers, so it's unfortunate that we fell short here. Moving forward, let's see what I do to help remedy these off-tone prints.
What I'd first recommend for improving print quality is updating your printer's firmware. We're always improving both print and color quality through these updates, so it's always good to stay up-to-date.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I up graded to this printer and am pleased with it. However it doesn't seem to mount photo pages (4x6) in the photo tray easily.
