My new favorite device

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second HP All-in-one printer. Compare to my old one (I used it for over 5 years) HP Envy 7855 is so much more advanced. First of all installation is literally plug and play as I decided to use this printer strictly for my mobile devices only . Step one is downloading HP Smart app and then using Bluetooth and location services to set it up with a printer ( you will also need to download hp printer plug in if you use Android platform ) Setting up is a breeze as assistant guides you and explains everything down to the smallest details so you know you are doing it right. Hp Smart app is simply amazing: possibilities are endless from printing picture from my phone to selecting picture from my social media or even personalizing it. Photo came out clear, vibrant and sharp I couldn`t be more pleased. One of my favorite features is SD card slot, which allows me to insert memory card from my digital camera directly into this printer , so no more hassle of transferring photos to my computer- they already in my printer , even organized in albums. Although photo printing is my favorite all other functions- copy scan and fax run just as smooth. I also found reatachable photo tray to be nice addition on securing photo paper and I can keep both - print and photo paper inside . Overall I am very pleased with this HP Envy 7855. It`s super easy to use and helps me to make sure my familie`s precious moments won`t be forgotten because they can be printed with just one click.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this free printer and what a great printer it is! The instructions were easy to understand and I was able to connect the printer to my laptop, phone and other devices pretty quickly. I take a lot of pictures on my cell phone, so it`s great that I can print my favorite pictures directly from phone and have them within seconds. I received a photo printer last year (different brand) as a gift and the HP Envy photo 7855 is definitely better. The picture quality is shaper and my documents print faster. I haven`t used a fax machine in over a year, so it`s unlikely that I`ll use the fax feature on this printer. Most offices/clients/vendors I work with prefer scanning and emailing documents. Overall, it`s a quality printer. I would buy this printer for my niece who just started college and I would recommend this printer for a family with a home office who also wanted to print high quality pictures!

Adequate printer for home office use and photos

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] PRINTER SETUP: Setup on my laptop took some time. I did the full software download and took about 15 minutes. Not too bad, but could have been quicker. It was a smooth installation with no issues to report. Setup on my iPhone/iPad was easier and I used the HP Smart App which made printing simple from a wireless device.
PRINTING/SCANNING/COPYING DOCUMENTS: Printing (Word Doc) speed was initially slow for some reason, but now seems to be quicker. The print quality is high and the black ink is vibrant. I was able to scan a document and easily locate it on computer. Copying was quick and easy with the touch screen. The copy was very good quality, with no smudging or visible lines that I have experienced with other printers.
PHOTO PRINTING: Easy photo printing from iPhone/iPad and computer. Striking colors resulted, with the smaller prints having the best quality. I printed a larger full page photo, and could see vertical lines throughout photo spaced about every half inch. These vertical lines were not visible on small photos and the small ones were very impressive. Generally I print smaller photos, so this quality difference was not a huge issue for me. I like the feature of being able to insert a memory card or connect a USB device - I tried the memory card and it inserted smoothly and photos were simple to print.
FAVORITE FEATURE: Wireless printing, and high print quality for most part.
COULD BE IMPROVED UPON: Touch screen was a nice feature, but was difficult to scroll through. Often would hit something I didn`t mean to touch. Also, tried the Wi Fi Direct where you should be able to connect to printer without connecting to wireless network, and I had difficulty. My device was asking for a printer password which I had a hard time finding. Print quality of large photos needs to be improved.
OVERALL: I like the printer overall and found it easy to set up and adequate for home office use as well as photo printing - I have no need for two printers for personal home/ business use and that is a good thing. This all in one printer is sufficient for all my needs.

HP comes out with easy to use printer

The product itself guides you along in a set up stage giving you different options on how to set up the services of the printer in a very clear and easy to understand way.
my favorite feature of this printer is the HP ePrint which assigns an email address to the printer so that you can forward any document from wherever you are located and have it print up on your printer for when you get back.
The product instructions are clear and easy to understand for all ages.
There`s next to no assembly required with this unit.
What I noticed different about this printer compared to others I have used in the past is it that it is more up-to-date simplify but more useful at the same time.
The product exceeds my quality expectations.
At this point I can think of no improvements that would be necessary.

I received the printer for a Christmas gift and have been enjoying the features since. Good quality in photo printing, copying and document printing. I have recently started working from home and like the business like printing and scanning capabilities. Even though my old non-HP printer was still working, this was a great upgrade!

This Photo printer is an excellent value for your money. It has all the features of the more expensive printers. The only upgrade I could see to happen is the touch screen could be an inch larger, other than that it has everything you would ever need. It is a fast, quiet and a decent size to fit in your home office, etc. The paper drawers are easy to fill, and the ink is easy to install. Not sure on really how long the ink lasts, but I'm sure its better than my last photo printer from HP. I will update later as time goes as I have not had this for long, and if needed will add to this review. But, honestly I'm already convinced that this will be a very good printer.

Easy Photos with HP ENVY Photo 7855

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this HP Envy Photo Printer free so I could give it an honest review. I love how the product was packaged to keep it from being damaged. The printer was easy to un-package, it prompted me to go online for set up which I liked because I didn`t have to go through pages of a manual. I did struggle a couple times with setting the printer the first time was getting the printer to recognize the ink and the second time was when the printer was calibrating, it just seemed to be stuck. These issues were not due to the instructions though and connecting the wireless setup was a breeze. I eventually got the printer set up. I hoping it was just a fluke. I really like that there is a tray for paper and a separate tray for photo sized paper. This makes it nice because you don`t have to get up to change the paper out this is probably one of my favorite features about this printer. In terms of printing the printer is great at printing pages its fairly quick and the printing is clear. I like how easy it is to print pictures. There is an app you can download on your phone and easily print photos from your phone. I printed a couple photos the first one was of my son, The colors were very vivid but there was one issue his tongue was blue, it wasn`t in the original photo which I felt like could have been an improvement on this product. The second photo I printed was a flower this photo turned out great, again very vivid colors. Overall I like the printer, it will be nice to be able to print quality photos quickly, I don`t know if it was that one photo that had some issues converting to the photo that came out.
