[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently was looking for a better photo printer with high speed and high quality printing and with my purchase of this All in one printer I am overly satisfied with my purchase. Money well spent!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this printer a couple weeks ago, and I'm very happy with it. For example, I like that there is a tray for photos and a separate tray for regular printing paper.
I bought this hp envy printer so I could print better pictures. When I wanted to copy and enlarge a picture I found that i can't unless it is on a camera or a sd card. With my old printer no problem. I also tried printing a picture from my computer on 8 x 11 hp photo paper it came out with lines every inch. Would not buy again.I am going to contact hp for help or will return
set up was a hassle. Would be better to have a book of instructions. I know it is cheeper to do it online but still a problem. Still haven't set up my fax or picture yet.
I just bought my printer all in one and so far so good, the only problem that I can see this far it has an option for two sided copy but actually it still just copy one side you have to manually flip it over to copy the back side.
I am very much enjoying my new printer, all the features are easy to use and produce great results. The price was also very reasonable. HPs Techs were so helpful in setting up and checking the features to be sure they were performing correctly. I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you all for a great product!
I have been buying HP printers for thirty years and they have always been such a great product and a workhorse for my office. Now the printers are not at the same level of reliability today. I returned a printer last week and got a new one. Now the scanning feature is not working. Really a disappointment.
The HP ENVY Photo 7855 is not as good a printer as the HP 8610 it replaced. Although the phone rep assured me it was comparable in reality it is not. The paper capacity is less. The print speed is much slower, and after only a few days of moderate use I am already out of black ink! With no shipment from HP Instant Ink in sight I was forced to go out and buy a replacement HP 64 ink cartridge. But the thing that bothers me most of all is that when I try to print out a multi-page Word document of more than 2 pages there is an annoying horizontal black line on the left side of the pages, meaning that I have to print them out one a time. Overall I am extremely dissatisfied with this product and I believe I was misled by the phone rep. The only positive thing I have to say about it is that the autofeed for scans and copies appears to be straighter and I do not get the typical slightly crooked output that I often got previously w the 8610.
