I bought this 2 weeks ago and have had to get a replacement, which just arrived. Now, this replacement is having the same issues as the first one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is not at all the experience we intend for our customers to have, so I can imagine how frustrating it must be. With that said, I'd really like to get this resolved for you.

Years ago I vowed that HP was going to be my "go to" printer after having a really bad experience with another brand. I've stuck to that. When I wear one out, I buy another one. Each one has been extremely dependable, and the Envy is no exception. You did well again, HP!
The only fault that I have with this wonderful printer has been that it is difficult to direct which tray you want to print from, and switching between is unnecessarily complicated. I liked the older HP software package much easier to work with.
Bought this to replace my older model. Not sure why the document feeder adds so much to the cost over similar HP models without it, but it was a feature I needed. Super easy set up. Works great.
Because my old HP printer became obsolete and I desperately needed a printer, this one was suggested. I’m certainly not unhappy with it. However, being 84 years old, new equipment is difficult for me to understand quickly. If I can’t figure simething out, I will certainly call HP for tech help. I was shocked by some of its unique potentials!
