Just installed and connected. Our last printer in this residence had a "hardware" problem with no easy way to be repaired. We now have 2 HP printers in each of our residences.(10013 & 12404)
ii purchased the 7855 because my 7640 was not scanning clean copies. After an hour with the tech, it was determined that the best thing for me was to get the 7855. At first inital scans were great. However, today when I had to get an important packet of info out to 22 persons, the scanned copies looked like what was coming from the 7640, Namely a very distracting vertical line about 2 inches from the edge of the page coming down from top to bottom of the entire page
Needed a new printer since i updated the software on my old (5 years) Hp printer as Hp recommended and then it wouldn’t work any longer... so after hours on the phone with Hp tech support trying to reverse the update they talked me into getting a new unit. Needless to say I’m done buying any Hp products after this painful ordeal.
This printer is easy to install and use. I have found that this printer goes offline occasionally which interrupts work and takes time to correct. Overall, I’m happy with this purchase.
