The model 7855 appears to be a slightly larger, more expensive version of the model 4630 with a few subtle differences. Unfortunately, our model 4630 that it replaced simply died after just 6 years of minimal use (less than 50 pages per month). The design features for both printers are perfect. Hopefully this printer will hold up better than it's predecessor.

I've had this printer for one week, but have tried out almost all of the features including copying, printing photos, and scanning. Have not had the opportunity to try faxing. I had to download a scanning program from HP before using that feature, but otherwise I have been able to figure out how to use it. After installing HP software, I had to restart the computer to get the printer to recognize the computer wirelessly, despite WIFI being connected. Until then it indicated that printer was "Offline", although everything else seemed to be working correctly. I don't like that the Output Tray does not retract after printing, as it makes me feel like I might strip the gears on that feature by pushing it in manually. In general, I am happy with this product so far.

Overall I am happy with product but I wish it had two other features. I use the screen frequently and find it is very small to read. I use envelopes more often than photos. I would prefer the second tray held envelopes and that I had to load photo paper in the main tray.
