[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm pretty impressed with this printer. Does nice work and seems pretty simple so far. I was very reluctant to buy any HP product as I was totally screwed on a whole expensive computer system, since major interior part was missing!! I'm on a high fence to be totally happy with any HP product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

New and Improved Home Printing System

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HP ENVY 5055 All-in-One Printer makes home office printing as easy as it can be. After setting us the system and connecting the printer to the HP App on my phone and laptop, I am able to easily and seamlessly print documents and photos without the hassle of cords, connections, worrying about printing to the "right" printer, or questionable ink quantities. Set-up was simple and easy. The printer came intact aside from the ink cartridges that took a second to insert. Once the printer was up and running, clear set-up and configuration instructions were displayed on the screen. This entire process took less than 10 minutes. My favorite aspect of this printer is the ability to effortlessly print photos I`ve saved to my phone. If you`re anything like me, you have hundreds of photos saved on your phone that never see the light of day! With this printer, I simply use the mobile app to select, edit, crop or resize, and print beautiful photos. The printer is capable of printing photos with sharp resolution and high-quality detail. Overall, in the days of `smart` home tools, the HP ENVY 5055 All-in-One Printer stands up to the trend by connecting your devices to your home or office printer. Being able to monitor and change the HP ENVY 5055 settings through my any of my devices - takes all of the guesswork and frustration out of home printing. A top choice for home printing!

Can every printer be this easy?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We`ve always been *uncomfortable* with printers. It`s almost as if we hold our breath when we need to print something, or else it might not work. But this printer is, without a doubt, the easiest and best printer I have EVER used. The assembly is so easy, all you have to do when you get it is pull it out of the box and take off all the stickers. It`s very sleek and modern-looking, so no problems there. Wifi was a breeze to set up, and my computer and phone had absolutely no problems finding it. It is recommended you download and use the app to set it up which is, honestly, VERY helpful and I loved it, but I wouldn`t get my grandparents this printer. Having the app easy and accessible enables you to scan things with your phone and print them, send photos of email attachments to the printer, scan to your phone, etc. I love it. Everything is perfectly integrated. The printer aligns itself easily, and HP even has a program to monitor ink usage so you`ll never run out of ink (we did not opt into this program, but I could see how it could be useful for busy families). Overall: This printer is perfect if you`re younger than about 50 or mildly-tech savvy. It`s not even so much that you need to be tech savvy to get it working, it`s just so modernized that it might intimidate people who aren`t comfortable with their technological skills. I manage an office and I`ve recommended we get a few of these around the space, especially because you can`t beat the price.

Decent all-in-one Printer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I`ve found this printer to be pretty efficient for home. This printer is compact, very easy to assemble, and does not take up a substantial amount of desk space. The instruction guide is very easy to follow and allowed me to set-up my device with relative ease. The printer`s touch screen display is very easy to navigate when you want to copy or scan documents, troubleshoot errors, or personalize your device. While this is a great feature, I`ve found that the touch screen is very sensitive to touch, and often clicks on links that you may be scrolling pass. The wifi feature allows you to easily use your laptop, tablet, or cell phone to connect to the printer through the HP Smart app. This app allows you to print, scan, and save documents and pictures between devices. While the scanned documents are uploaded perfectly, I`ve encountered some minor issues with the print feature. Although the device prints very clearly and quietly, it prints slowly and appears to use a lot of ink. Even though my print jobs are dry when the job is completed, I also noticed that the ink smears when I try to highlight sentences with a highlighter. This in itself may have more to do with the type of paper used and quality of the ink, but I also felt that it was important to share. The paper tray is very compact, and offers very limited storage space. The paper tray tucks away with ease, just like every other compartment within the printer. Overall, I find this product to be decent, and I highly recommend it for home use.

Sleek, Modern, and Effective Printer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was interested in acquiring a black printer to match my office and was pleased to get this one. The printer has a simple and easy to understand setup. It actually did not require any assembly, which was great. I love simplicity! It`s a great experience to hit the print button and everything works seamlessly. I noticed that the printer is very quiet, unlike my previous printer. And as a mother with small children it is a nice addition to have the paper somewhat hidden. The paper is loaded underneath, opposed to sticking out the top where little hands can grab it! The printer is sleek, modern and attractive. One improvement would be to highlight the blue handles that indicate how to take it out of the box to avoid dropping it. I did not see the handles until after removing the product from the box, however, I thankfully did not drop it. I would also recommend that the paper catch be made more sturdy to decrease the opportunity for it to be broken. Overall, the product exceeded my quality expectations.

All-in-One Printer- black

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Assembly: I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. Overall the printer is easy to assemble, it has clear instructions that anyone can follow. I like that the printer is not too heavy, I was able to carry it from my living room to the office room. It is a nice size and I feel like it doesn`t take too much space on my desk. It was easy to set up the wifi and connecting it with my computer, I really enjoy that I can print from anywhere in the house. The set up was really easy compared to pass printers that I have used especially since it has the touch screen it is a plus. Features: I like the feature that I can set up an e-mail account for the printer and if I need something printed when I am not home I can send it to the e-mail and it will print it for me. I also like that there are two options when printing, the first option is the fast printing which can be a bit loud but not disturbing loud. The second option is setting it on quiet mode it is not completely quiet and it doesn`t print as fast as the first option. The printing quality on both settings is great. Comparison:I have been using the printer to print my school work and my lesson plans so it works great and the ink dries quick. Compared to other printers that I have used in the passed this printer is easy to use and easy to set up. Setting up the wifi connection was way easier and being able to connect my laptop was easy too. I feel that the ink doesn`t ran out as fast as compared to other printers I have been printing a lot of papers for class and for work. Overall the printing quality is much better compared to other printers it met my expectations and it has worked great for what I use it.

Great midsized printer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a neat printer for any scanning, copying and printing. It doesn`t have any faxing capabilities though. The set up was reallly easy and I love that can you download the HP Smart app to get the printer up and running through Bluetooth. Printing pages is pretty much a breeze; there were no delays whatsoever. I was quite impressed with the printing speed. My only concern is that I noticed the ink smudged slightly when printing. It only occurred once from my knowledge, so it might have not dried fast enough. Other than that, this printer is great for any personal and business related needs I have.
