[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion.Compact: When I received the product I was amazed by how lightweight and compact it really is.It was so easy to lift and transport for set up so that even me (at 117 lbs) had no trouble carrying this printer to my in home office. Assembly : To assemble and set up was quite easy as well. The printer is already in one piece so all you have to do is download the app for your Android or Iphone device, and look at the diagram on how to insert ink cartridges and paper. I have an Android device so I downloaded the HP Smart app from the Google Play store. The app is free and installed in less than a minute. This will allow you to set up your Wi-Fi connection to the printer and be able to print documents or photos straight from your phone or google drive.Once you have done this,open the scanner and below that is another black door that should lift up easily to insert your ink cartridges. The purple tab lifts up and you can install the multi-colored ink there and the black ink goes under the black tab then close and add your paper-that`s it! It is so easy to use. When you put paper in, don`t add too much at once because this will keep your door from closing. The tray is small so only put as much paper as you can and do not overstuff it.Functionality : The printer works great! It`s compact size and design makes it perfect for any size home or office. It has a modern and sleek design that anyone could love. Whether you need to print documents for office or school, send a fax or make copies, the HP ENVY will get it done fast and efficiently! It also allows you to print photos from your phone and social media accounts.The pictures I printed came out with great resolution quality. I was very impressed! Comparison : In comparison to other printers I have used, this one is my favorite. At the office, I have used other printers that were too bulky and slower in processing commands.Usually they would require someone to come out to help assemble or repair them but this printer is a DIY! Every command I gave this printer has been completed accurately and within very little time. Problems : I have not had any problems with this printer. The only thing I might suggest is a larger paper tray that may hold a little more paper at one time. However, this is not an issue for me. I don`t mind just reloading the paper tray but it may be a little more work for some people who want to complete a very large job without paper running out. Still even with this very minor obstacle,this is one of the most efficient printers you may use. I highly recommend HP ENVY to anyone who wants the most innovative piece of technology for home or office. Overall impression : This printer is fantastic! I would rate it an A+ on speed, innovation, accuracy and compact design. My Pdfs were printed perfectly alligned without any errors or smudging. The photos printed were top quality and looked as if they came from a professional photographer.

It was basically as simple as unpacking it, turning it on, and connecting it to my wifi. Physical Features: overall pretty sleek as far as printers go. I like the compact, matte grey finish a lot and don`t mind displaying on or below my desk at all. Performance: I found the printing, copying, and scanning feature to be adequate for my needs. It was perfectly capable of printing quality documents, but I`m not sure I`d trust it to print professional grade photographs. The ability connect to the printer via bluetooth was by far my favorite feature. I was able to print directly from my phone! Amazing. I would recommend this printer to anyone who is sick of wires and wants a reliable printer.

I bought this after I got tired of struggling with an older wifi enabled printer from a different manufacturer. This printer is a dream compared to that one. Everything was set up and working within minutes and there haven't been any problems at all. I mainly use it for scanning to email and printing from my computer files. I like the fact that it uses one ink cartridge for color rather than one for each color. It's very compact and lacks some features of larger models such as a feed for multiple pages when copying. Also the extension arm that catches the pages as they come out doesn't extend automatically, so I just leave it in the extended position.
Pros: Affordable, Lightweight

I replaced my Envy 4512 with this product and it is clear that features are pretty much the same but the pull out paper support is exactly what I needed, because that is the only thing that went wrong with the 4512. So, now I feel more confident in having a workable piece of equipment.

I was used to past printers that required a cd to install it. This merely aligns itself by going to HP online. The one issue I have is that I have to go over to the printer and turn it on manually for it to print. Other printers turned on y themselves when you clicked on "Print". This one does not. Otherwise it is fine.
