[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3 weeks old and finally I have a great printer. Love the instant ink. Very easy to set up and quality is great.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this printer and as a 62 year old who isn’t necessarily the most tech savvy as I was when I was working full time and I now struggle with physical and memory issues this little powerhouse of a printer was a godsend. This little black box practically walks the print to your eagerly waiting hands it’s so darn simple to use! Don’t wait to chose this Envy because your friends will envy you how easy it is to use, but know what? At this price they can go home and order one too! Then you can get their email address of their printer and send them recipes direct. Ha ha!
Won’t coo to WiFi. Gave up and got a cord. Connected to my computer. Printed half a day and now will not print at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi, Kammie.
I’m sorry to hear that your printer has not connected wirelessly like it should, and now it won’t print. I can understand why that would quickly become frustrating, so I’ll offer some suggestions that I hope will help.
I can’t tell from your review why your printer won’t work, so I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can guide you through the proper troubleshooting. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
- Model number - Serial number - Your location - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)
I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies, so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link: support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty
This replaced my HP 4520 and is comparable in style and features. It is small enough not to hog a desk and easy to set up through the new smart app that is recommend by HP. One feature of the app that is significantly better than previous model is Smart Scan which sits as an icon on my desk top and much easier to use than any other scan program I've had. The printed instructions have been trimmed down to uselessness, as if each word cost too much to bear. I'm betting that HP thinks their smart app covers everything, but having a description in words is invaluable.
I print a lot and the ink cartridge only prints less than 50 pages. I constantly buy ink. The paper keeps jamming.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello there,
I'm sorry to hear that your ink appears to have been used up too quickly. Even if you were printing mostly high-density prints, it does seem like the printer should have rendered more pages than what you describe. With that in mind, I’ll offer some resources and information I hope will help.
Here are a few facts about ink use that might help you get more prints without too much extra effort: - A high-density print (such as an image or graph) uses ink more quickly than a text-only document, particularly if the paper is highly absorbent and the environment is dry. - Using the draft and black only settings on your printer can help save on ink, particularly the colors. - Shutting the printer down between uses can result in some savings. However, always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That will let the printer to 'park' so that the nozzles that spray the ink onto the paper are protected from excess drying.
If the problem persists, I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can guide you through the proper troubleshooting.
