I had previously bought another brand's printer and returned it because it was so confusing to use. Setting up the HP was intuitive. I downloaded the app on my computer and it guided me through the whole process. The touch screen on the printer makes it easy too. So far no problems!
my husband did so much research on this printer/scanner and the first time I had to open the paper tray to refill, a plastic piece broke off...which meant I could no longer print anything.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there.
I’m sorry to hear that a piece broke off of your printer’s paper tray, and that now it will no longer print. I can understand why that would be incredibly unnerving, so I’ll offer some resources and information I hope will help.
From your review, I can’t tell why the paper tray broke or whether a remedy exists, so I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can guide you through the proper troubleshooting. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
- Model number - Serial number - Your location - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)
I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies, so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link: support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty
A few weeks ago I never knew of such features. I love the e-print and led screen.Just the ease makes it worth the money, which by-the-way was a real plus.
