[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator came with my new townhome. I am not happy that the water filtration does not take the chlorine taste out of the water. I am back to buying bottled water. I will probably just sell this and buy a new GE fridge. Sorry.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Extremely Loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product makes a loud humming noise almost constantly, loud enough to be heard from the living room. It's enough to drive me batty at times. If quiet operation is important for you, do not purchase this fridge.

Good refrigerator

But it lacks a deli drawer to store meats & cheeses and it has limited space, except for a large produce drawer at the very bottom the refrigerator compartment that is not easily accessible or seen. The ice maker works very well.

Whirlpool side-by-side refrigerator/freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My previous Whirlpool refrigerator had started to decline. It just wasn't keeping the contents as cool as it should have, and foods were "going bad" quickly. I replaced it with a similar side by side refrigerator/freezer. It was delivered, lines were hooked up, and so far (knock on wood) everything is working just fine. I miss the extra drawer that my previous refrigerator had that I kept meats and cheeses in, but I have found ways of adapting. I have to say that my previous refrigerator was twenty plus years old and we had problems with the freezer side from the get-go. They finally replaced the freezer door (wouldn't replace the whole appliance); despite that, we had twenty very good years of service from this appliance. So with that in mind, I decided to stay with the Whirlpool brand. I checked ratings and it is better rated than most brands. I hope to have many good years with this one.
