[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not write a positive review. I did speak with your representative, who was most polite and friendly. However, he said my reasons for NOT liking my new refrigerator were not such that Whirlpool would consider justifiable reasons for exchange. Nonetheless, I strongly dislike the design, so much so that if I had the money, I would give this one away! Among my reasons, it has no smaller (third) meat drawer and the water and ice leavers are situated in such a manner that, even with trying to be careful, water pours onto the floor when I am trying to get ice.

I’m a big believer in whirlpool products but this fridge leaves me questioning this particular one!!!

Good basic machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good basic machine. Keeps food cold/frozen, has water/ice in the door. Don't need anything else. Had a similar machine. After 4.5 years, the ice maker died due to a wiring problem between cabinet and door. luckily, I had a 5-yr warrantee. New model has the icemaker in the cabinet and not in the door like the old one. Everything else was fine, so I got the newer model. Only downside was the useable space was less in the new model with the ice maker in the cabinet. Hopefully it's less prone to fail.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Small freezer

Fridge Good, Mediocre Ice Maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After more than six months use, I am overall happy with the refrigerator. It could use another interior shelf and another door shelf, and the door hinge on the fridge side could be a little stronger so the door wouldn't swing all the way open so easily. But it holds temperature just fine, no condensation or frost build up, and while the compressor isn't quiet, it also isn't what I would call loud. The ice maker is very slow and very loud, and after about six months it stopped working altogether. We had to dig around online to find out where the "reset" button is, and after we reset the ice maker it started working again. I'm disappointed that Whirlpool has such a low quality standard, but unfortunately this type of "good enough" product has become the industry standard across all brands. I'm just grateful that I haven't had to replace it yet.
