Brand new, doesn’t work, repair visit takes foreve

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not working correctly from the start. Brand new appliance bought with extended warranty, repair visit unavailable for weeks. Concerned it won’t be fixed even then. Freezer side at coldest setting fluctuates between 18F and 28F, refrigerator side fluctuates between 35F and 45F. I had thought Whirlpool was the smart choice before receiving this faulty unit and sub-par issue resolution.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Master Manual is a piece of junk

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] things are good but Quick Start Guide is not A Quick Start Guide , not clear as picture on adjustment control , 5 pic are the same, should have arrow point the light idea, cold, coldest.,.., control freezer not show location front ? freezer door ? . Look like Whirlpool try to save the money, manual is for all Fridge not the one I buy I have, too many things styles, I only need the one I have to read for fast and ready use no need anythings else to read , Just do it and plug in and use

Noisy

We just purchased this on December 23rd. It runs almost constantly and is very noisy. Cool part and frozen sections seem to be OK. Cannot get a service technician for almost 2 weeks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Found this one on sale and in stock, though wasn't the one I really was looking for. It is a nice model and exceeded my expectations so far, though just a hair noisier than anticipated. Would buy again if I had to do all over.

Very solid unit for the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased a few weeks ago and believe this Whirlpool refrigerator offers a lot for the money. I cannot say it’s the quietest of the refrigerators on the market, coming in at 53-57db. It does sit in a really tight spot which might amplify the humming. Ice dispenser is aggressive; shoots ice out like a MLB reliever and takes much longer to produce ice than expected. Could use one additional drawer or even a shelf. Dispenser touchpad is very difficult to read, although you don’t need to change settings very often. No fingerprints on stainless steel is Great!
