Loud conpressor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Too loud. The fridge cools, sure, but it is so loud. Noticed it literally on day one and you want to charge me to have a technician come take a look at it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No volume ice maker!

Our repairman recommended Whirlpool. We have only had the refrigerator a week but so far we are very happy with it.

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had the refrigerator 3 weeks. It’s almost impossible to regulate the temp. The “ideal” temperature setting works ok for the freezer but the refrigerator part gets well below freezing and has ruined fruit and vegetables. The next setting is relatively ok for the fridge but not cold enough for the freezer. The setting for “coldest “ for the freezer does nothing. So far I have grown to hate it

Same design. Same great fridge at a great price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is perfect for the needs of our small family. The only thing that is missing from the old design of the same model is the drawer for lunch meat and cheeses, which tucks up under the second shelf.

Fridge is just OK

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge is just OK. The light on the fridge side is in the back upper right corner and is too bright, so it blinds you. I had to put a piece of removable painters tape over it so it wouldn't be so bright. My previous side by side fridge had the light in the front facing away from you, so it was no bother. Even though it's a side by side, the doors should have some sort of spring or pneumatic closer to make sure the doors close. The on/of switch on the icemaker can't be reached without pulling out the full ice drawer and bending to look under it, and the arm to stop making more ice is too hard to reach & move up by hand which is not great for singles who don't use alot of ice. When running, the compressor is louder than my old fridge and the hum can be heard throughout the whole house.
