Lovely Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a beautiful appliance with a lot of room, although it is really too large for my kitchen (my fault). I didn't get to see it before it was delivered, so I didn't realize how big it was. The interior is bright & roomy. I don't have the ice/water dispenser hooked up yet, so I can't comment on that. My only complaint at this point is that when it is running, it hums very loudly! That is a bit of a nuisance, but nothing major.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Could use another shelf

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The overall design is a bit lacking. If it had just one more shelf it would be a huge plus. It seems like it was designed for an additional shelf (two huge gaps between shelves) but you probably have to purchase separately. It would be much more efficient with a forth shelf..

Very Poorly Designed Refrigerator

Worst designed refrigerator that I have ever owned. The placement of the water directly in front of the ice dispenser in the door is a big mistake. It drips water down the front of the door every time it's used. Because the opening for the cups is so small, you have to tilt your cup to get ice. However the water lever is directly in front of the ice lever, so half the time you hit the water lever when getting ice and it sprays everywhere because the cup and you hand are under it. Expect to get you body and the floor soaked. In general they should have made the opening large enough to fit a large tumbler type cup below the dispensers and put the dispensers side by side. The ice maker is not the standard half cylinder shaped cubes that dump to the side. The cubes are shaped like a standard manual fill and dump cube tray, and they dump directly below the tray. This causes the ice maker to shut down when the bin is only about 1/3 full. You don't get a very large capacity for ice cubes on hand, and the empty bin takes up a large portion of the freezer. The controls on the refrigerator are mounted on the side of the top shelf, which means that 2-3 inches of the top shelf can not be used as the controls are in the way. The shelfs are not adjustable and are height limiting. You can not fit a standard 2 liter soda bottle on the top shelf. As far as I'm concerned the top shelf is the most used shelf by adults and its design limits its use.

Example: No leveling feet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My main complaint is that this model does not have leveling feet so every time the refrigerator/freezer doors are opened/closed, the refrigerator rolls forward/backward. I would not have chosen this model had I been aware of this beforehand. Because of this, there is a creaking sound whenever the doors are opened/closed which is annoying.

Looks nice but loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks nice, but has the loudest compressor of any refrigerator I've owned. It runs constantly and took two days before I heard it cut off for the first time. I bought it because I have confidence in whirlpool, but I'm truly concerned that this is a sign it will fail prematurely. Maybe it's just new technology, but I like quieter units that ran less if that's the case. I wouldn't buy this until again.

Very simple and basic
