Average fridge that came with a factory defect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the fridge with my new DR Horton home. It's a bit small for my taste. But it has an average amount of space for food storage. The fridge and freezer settings are a bit confusing. Took a few minutes to figure it out. The fridge was brand new and it came with a defect of the coolant not working and leaking. After about a month, it was finally repaired. The first tech that came out that it was a simple fix, but it wasn't after diagnosing the issue. Then he and his shop didn't have the part to repair it. After a couple of weeks I finally get a call back when a new tech can come out to repair it the following week. I hate how the shelves and drawers move out of place so easily. I feel as if they will slide off and break. There isn't a built-in air filter in the fridge, so it smells. Hopefully it won't after the fridge is properly cooled and frozen.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Freezer stopped working three weeks after it was delivered. Refrigerator stopped working the week after that. It’s under warranty however it will be nearly 6 weeks before a technician can come out to look. Not exactly what I expected out of a brand new appliance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator because we had whirlpool appliances before and were always pleased. However, the icemaker has never fit completely correctly and is the noisiest appliance I have ever owned. Was recomended as "Best Buy". Totally untrue.
