Replaces a 16 Year Old Whirlpool of Similar design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great for us. This is a replacement for a 16 year old Whirlpool basically of the same design but with stainless and not white.
The first thing we noticed was even though the outer dimensions are identical to the old one, the inner space is much larger and more usable. More modern, thinner insolation maybe?
The icemaker section works well but can be a little more tighter to get to but how many times do we need to go in there? No biggie.

Solid, basic refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the refrigerator a few weeks ago and everything has worked great so far. Only complaint is that the drawers do not easily open and close (there is friction when opening and closing them)

Piece of junk, crappy service

If I could give less than one star, I would. We bought this refrigerator five months ago. Not it is not cooling and food is spoiling. Called Whirlpool, still under warranty and have extended warranty. The best they can d is get someone out here 12 days from now. The product is junk, the service is horrible. Don't buy this thing and don't do business with this company. (and Whirlpool, if you're going to delete this review, I'm also posting to Google)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this fridge despite a defect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and within one week I had water leaking from the bottom on the floor. Luckily Whirlpool was so lovely and sent someone out to look at it. It was a manufacturer defect with the water filter housing. They had to order a new part and I’ve been without the water dispenser/ ice maker for weeks now. Part should come in next week. Little disappointing and frustrating but I really love the fridge and understand things happen!!!!
