Great fridge! Lots of room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just got this refrigerator, because our old one, stopped working, and although I loved the old model, this one is even better. Plenty of space for both refrigerated and frozen food, and perfect moisture control for produce drawers!

No choice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We didn’t have much of a choice in what to buy. There wasn’t that many refrigerators in stock when our old one died. We couldn’t wait weeks to get one we wanted. The bottom produce drawer has cracked weeks ago and another is supposed to be on the way but have not received it yet.

Whirlpool is great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like whirlpool products. So naturally when we needed a new refrigerator after 23 years we got another whirlpool side by side. Love that the filter is easy to change our old one was on the very back of the fridge so you had to completely pull fridge out to change it. Couple of things i dont like about this new one are 1. after you get water it will drip even though we wait a little bit after getting water to make sure its not going to. It is just my husband and I so we are very careful about this but it will still drip. 2. The drawers are very flimsy. Feel like they are going to be easy to break. Nothing like as sturdy as my old fridge drawers were. But overall i still like Whirlpool products.

Learning to accept it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This model DOES cool well, ans seems efficient. Previous model almost never turned off. This one does, and the temps are all cool. Problems: The ice maker water spout is over the edge of the front. So if even one drop will make a mark down the front door. The instruction booklet did not cover our model exactly, and the various options are not easy to identify and follow. The manual was probably generic for all the older models. We have it set to "ideal" and our veggies etc, that are near the sides of the referigerator freeze instead of just cool. Thermometer inside the front door says 40 degrees but clearly is not even throught the referigerator. Wish they had the in-door icemaker in this size. It is constructed better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
