This one works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first one, same model, was delivered two days earlier, and we restocked it with our refrigerator items around noon. We heard noises during the night, (sales rep said sounds like the compressor). The items were not cold. We had to throw out several items. They shipped a new one, the one I am reviewing now, and it has worked great from day one!
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had a whirlpool refrigerator in the house since 1997. Upgraded appliances and bought a new one. The old one went to a friend and still works great! I trust whirlpool—they make appliances, not TVs!

Great features

After not having an ice or water dispenser for 4 years it's awesome to not have to buy bottled water any more! The filter is super easy to get to as well. I love how the water and ice buttons are seperate. I like that is is easy to take apart everything to clean the inside and you dont need a manual to put it back together. The init isnot as deep as the one I had before and I actually gained some space in my kitchen.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ice Dispenser Issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are two issues, both we can live with, but both I think are deficiencies in design. The Ice delivery system allows ice to escape the glass on both sides as it drops due to what appears to be a lack of side-walls on each side of the delivery funnel the glass pushes against for ice. Ice can go everywhere and does until you find a work around in placement of your glass. The other thing, it never makes enough ice to fill the internal container. Makes ice very slowly even on the lowest temp position. I would recommend this product to a friend only after giving them the full knowledge of these two issues.

Hate ice/water dispenser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the Whirlpool suite for our new home this summer. Although the refrigerator and freezer both function as expected, I absolutely hate the water/ice dispenser. It is not tall enough to fit a normal size cup under the ice dispenser so you must tilt the cup up to press the lever. When you do that, the outside rim of the cup presses the water lever. This results in water being sprayed on you, the front of the refrigerator and the floor. I’d never buy this particular model again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Refrigerator

The doors have alot of shelf space and we are able to keep all our tall, large bottles in the door. The refrigerator keeps everything cold and there is enough space in the freezer to keep meat frozen.
