Perfect Size for Our Family

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator almost a month ago. We needed an upgrade since our old one was on its last leg. We are so happy with our purchase. The fridge part keeps things SO COLD. We definitely weren't used to that! And the freezer works great. It runs so quietly we barely notice it. And we love having fresh, filtered, cold water and ice that tastes great too. The filter is super easy to get to when it's time to replace and the overall look is superb. It's perfect for our family of four!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had a Whirlpool side by side refrigerator for over 40 years.. our longest one was still working at 28 years when we thought it best to get a new one.. unfortunately that one only lasted 1 1/2 yrs.. then due to the Pandemic we were limited in what we could buy, in an emergency... We bought this one, but the freezer door did not close right.. The company brought a replacement a week later.. which is slightly better. Must be a sign of the times. We do love Whirlpool and will probably stick with the appliances in the future..

Basic style and features with issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my side by side 3 months ago and the water dispenser has already malfunctioned. Water flow would not stop. Had to shut off main valve. Whirlpool repair appt. scheduled 3 weeks out . Not too impressed with Whirlpool product or customer service.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Yeah! It's okay!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this a few weeks ago and are still getting used to the large capacity; it still has a lot of unused shelf space. One thing bothers me though and it's the weight of the doors, especially when there are items on the door shelves. I am conscious of this and carefully bring the door to a manual stop when I open it but I am afraid one of the kids will be careless and let the door find its own stop and therefore stress the hinges beyond their capacity. Also, I wonder why there is a missing glass shelf. There is an empty rack available but no glass. Perhaps this is intentional to allow us to set it up the way we want, with one shelf higher than others to fit taller bottles. Or is the unit supposed to have a glass shelf on each rack? Anyway, the refrigerator works fine.
