[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Refrigerator works as needed. That being said I would like to state I do not like the ice maker in this unit. Ice is slow to make compared to our old unit. We have never had a full bin of ice since this unit was installed. Light controls are useless as you have to turn it on before you get ice or water or you get no light. Also light location is not convenient to see into the cup you are filling. We are currently satisfied with this unit.

Nice Fridge! Water & Ice levers an issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great fridge. Only complaint is the ice and water levers could be positioned differently. The ice lever feels loose and have to push it down more than I think you should have to. Quite frequently I have been filling my cup up with ice and the top lip of my cup will hit the water button and spray water everywhere. That design should be revised.

Disgusted with your product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased and ice maker worked 2 days and didn’t dump ice. Water accumulated in ice bin and ran water inside the freezer. We are having to wait until 7/18/25 to get repairman out. This was really a disappointing thing for us to purchase a new Whirlpool item and problem this major right off the bat. Very disappointed and dissatisfied in your product.

Bad water and ice despensing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently purchased the things we do not like ; 1. Only two draws in refrigerator (2) the ice and wayer drspensers are in awkard positions making it difficult to get ice without hitting water dispenser amd causeing water to make a mess.

Terrible water and Ice Dispencing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The water and Ice dispencing is terrible - cannot get ice without ice going all over the floor.. Water very difficult to use. This will be moved to the garage and a new refrigeratror bought for the kitchen.

Lots of room, but with messy ice/water dispenser.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lots of room. Seems a bit loud and the ice/water dispenser is not easy to use without making a mess. Always bumping the water dispenser “switch” when getting ice in anything but a small eight ounce glass…always…spewing water all over the floor.

Less than top quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When the freezer started to fail on my 17 year old Whirlpool Fold side by side, I decided to replace it with something similar. At its current age and given the fact that I had replaced the ice maker a year earlier, I decided that it was not worth repairing. We have always been pleased with our Whirlpool products and since we are price conscious, newly retired, and don’t care about internet connectivity and other frivolous features, we decided on this model. After owning it for several weeks now, I can confirm that the quality of this model is not up to the standards that we would expect from Whirlpool. The compressor is much louder than my 17 year old unit and the top edge of the freezer door sits about 3/16” above the refrigerator door. Very poor fit and finish.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The handprints stay on the refrigerator but not any of our other appliances that we own do this. I’m talking the stove, dishwasher, oven and microwave. The same holds true for our washing machine and dryer. Hate the refrigerator!
