Not as good as our previous Whirlpool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this refrigerator after a hurricane ended the life of our first Whirlpool.
There are some things which we do not like, now that we own it, but it is what it is. Does not have two full drawers for veggies...no separate drawer for cheese/deli items. And, the suction on the door is so strong that the unit pulls away from the wall when you open the doors. Also, when you request crushed ice, it sprays all over, inside and outside.

Water Dispenser Tray Needed

Fridge is okay. Drawers are not that easy to open and the dispenser will drip over the tray and to the front of the fridge. Whirlpool needs to make an after market fix to this (i.e. plastic tray that will overhang slightly to collect excess drops).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ice maker problems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The water dispenser and ice dispenser are too close together -- I seem to activate both of them at the same time. The new refrigerator did not have enough drawers, so luckily we saved one from our old refrigerator that fit the new one.. The new refrigerator moves easily on rollers and the stainless steel does not show finger prints. There is much more light than in our old one.

An excellent buy

We bought this refrigerator July 1. We have always been concerned with the extremely loud noise it makes. Ice emptying will make you jump! Your owners manual says that noise is to be expected, so we are living with it. My main concern is the door on the refrigerator side swings out so far and so fast; you'd better hold on to that door when you open it! Is there an adjustment for that?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] what a nightmare. this is the worst fridge i have ever had. It broke for no apparent reason after 4 months of use and whirlpool won't even come out to fix it. they don't return my calls and make excuse after excuse! don't buy this fridge.
