Ok but a little noisy

Basic Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a bisque colored refrigerator, and this was my only Whirlpool option. So the color is perfect, and the size is perfect for the space I have available. The temperatures hold well in both the freezer and frig sections. I'm used to pushing a button and reading the temp. Nope, not an option, and I miss that! I purchased 2 thermometers to keep tabs. There are 2 bins in the frig, but neither are humidity controlled. There is good space in the door, and the shelves can be placed where they work best. Shelves in freezer are not pull out. The bottom bin can be pulled out but it is very small. The ice maker works well, and makes smaller cubes than my last one, and I like that. The water pressure is good in door as well. So overall, it is very basic, with not many added features. But it keeps food and drink very cold (especially beer:). I'm just wish I would not have had to sacrifice so many added features to get the color I wanted.

Stainless side by side

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this frig during the pandemic only because it was the one and only one available. I don’t like where the light is you lose shelve space. It could also have a third drawer in it. Other than that the frig will work for now.

Doubting my choice

I can’t get the unit to cool properly. Placed a thermometer (specifically made for refrigerator and freezer) in the refrigerator and one in the freezer section. The refrigerator section was still reading at 40 degrees and the freezer was reading 10 degrees after 24 hours. Reading the documentation that came with the unit and researching online through all the available docs fails to provide the specific answers I was looking for...there are four lights on the control unit 1 snowflake on the top to 4 snowflakes on the bottom...touching the set temp button cycles through the four settings...but what is the setting when all the lights are on (no documentation as to what that means). I started a live chat session the individual tried to assist but at the end of the session she suggested setting up a service call because the unit is not cooling properly. The problem with a service call is I can’t get an appointment until the 28th or 29th of September...the unit was purchased 8/21/2020. I’m not sold on the reliable of the product or being able to contact anyone about the specific issues I have encountered. I realize that this product review section is not the proper location for these kinds of concerns but I feel like I’ve been running in circles trying to get answers. In addition to the fact that I can’t get anyone to look at the unit (that has been in service for less than two weeks) for almost a month (not acceptable).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the refrigerator and ice maker. I like the side by side as it is easy to get to items inside. Ice and water dispensary could be better located as when I get ice glass will hit the water dispenser then I have water to clean up off floor. Could be located side by side instead of top and bottom location.
