Ice maker always jammed.

Unfortunately this fridge came with the house I bought. I want whirlpool to buy back my fridge. The ice maker is always getting jammed and is frustrating. I would buy another whirlpool model.

Bad service, bad product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Problems!! The fridge keeps making loud grinding and buzzing sounds. It happens every few weeks until recently when it completely stopped cooling or freezing. Then, trying to register this thing to get the warranty going so I could set-up service was a pain... They say they cannot find my fridge. The appliance buy cannot get here for 3 WEEKS! What kind of service is this?!?! We specifically wanted to buy an American brand but feel like we made a huge mistake. The fridge is less than a year old and should not be crapping out already.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Freezer doesn’t cool and it won’t make ice cubes

This refrigerator came with our new house, the freezer won’t cool, it won’t make ice cubes, food gets spoiled, it doesn’t freeze anything and we have been using it for only a week. Called customer service and it will take a week for a technician to come, meanwhile we don’t have a refrigerator, definitely I don’t recommend it

OK, but has some issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator is very loud. The ice maker doesn't make ice quickly enough. There is no drip tray for the ice/water dispenser and the water dispenser is so far forward that it drips down the front of the refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator came new with the house. I don’t like the way the ice and water dispenser are set up. It spits out an ice cube sometimes onto the floor. If you’re not careful, the water will run down the front and stains it. Also I need an extra shelf for freezer and fridge. Cheaper made appliance than I’m used to. I realize contractors sometimes buy cheaper models.

Complete junk

I cannot stand this refrigerator. It has not functioned correctly since the day we plugged it up. The water for the icemaker leaks into the bottom of the freezer and pools up under the bottom freezer bin eventually freezing it to the floor of the freezer. If left alone it will start running out the door. The filter housing is also broken. It has a small lever that is supposed to pop the filter out when you open the door. It just dangles in there and you have to strong arm it out. Sometimes the water dispenser works and sometimes it doesn't. It is a complete crap shoot as to whether it will. The door swings wildly when you open it. I have owned a lot of whirlpool appliances in my years. This is the absolute biggest piece of junk for the price. If this is what I can expect for my money they can just keep it. I have been trying to get warranty service for weeks and finally found out that they have no warranty person in my area. Because obviously no one who lives near me has an appliance. I need to pay for the repairs and submit a reciept for reimbursement. Nice.
