[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very good frig! It took a while for the ice to accumulate but once it did, it kept up with our usage very well. The only thing I would like to mention is that the cold water is almost like room temperature and to enjoy cold water, I have to use ice cube or crushed ice.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Running sound is LOUD

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] purchased in November and beginning in January it started making a loud humming sound. One evening we noticed it had just made ice and the humming was extremely loud. Another evening the humming was so loud it woke us from a dead sleep
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a month of use, I like this refrigerator. Whirlpool has always given us great service. It does seem to be more noisy than most. The right & left door do not line up on the front of the refrigerator. The right door hinge does not keep the door from slinging open.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had Whirpool fridges for 55 years. Last one lasted 15 yrs. First one lasted 25-30 yrs. Last one was very similar to new one. New has no flexibility in shelf spacing, no meat drawer, less flexibility in door shelf arrangement. Like the ice cube shape. You are getting to be like Henry Ford, i.e., you can have any color you want as long as it is stainless! Personally, I don't know why anyone would want their home kitchen to look like the kitchen at IHOP!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In less then 6 weeks a repairman had to be called, problem fix did not work. Repairman is coming back in the morning because refrigerator and freezer stopped working.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
