Water runs outside

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just bought this fridge for the house we are building. We don't even have it hooked up to the water yet. We can hear the hum of the motor of the fridge running in the back of the house, but it's not annoying. Don't know what kind of noise the ice maker will make since it's off. I love the clean look of it (no fingerprints) and the sturdy shelving. We have put some things in it and it is cooling perfectly on the 'ideal' setting.

Nice features, but more noise than expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is pretty good overall. Keeps things cold, freezes ice very quickly. The shelves are glass and appear quite sturdy, the meat and vegetable drawers seem a bit flimsy. Time will tell how they survive. In a home with children I would be doubtful. Same goes for the ice maker compartment. It works for us in our retirement years but I'd suspect a teenager would break it fairly quickly..
Our biggest issue is the noise level. Sometimes the machine is perfectly quiet. Other times it makes a pulsating hum which is most annoying. Sometimes the loud noise lasts for thirty seconds, other times it goes on for five minutes or more. We previously had a KitchenAid which gave great service for twenty years and finally failed in January 2020. It was very quiet but a similar model at a similar price point is no longer available. We did not contact a service center since the noises are not consistent nor are they repeatable.
I would recommend this unit, but with a caveat due to the potential for noise.
