Ice Maker Controls/Water Filter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I had to get a new refrigerator/freezer, and this model looked like the best for the money. We are very happy with it. The ice and water controls on the front are laid out well, and the machine is very sturdy. Our old refrigerator was falling apart. This is a good machine. Water filter is very easy to change, and its location is easy to get to.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Always had Whirlpool appliances through the years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Freezer side is smaller than we had previously, ( Whirlpool side by side before) seems as though the ice maker takes up too much valuable space, also as a hearing impaired person I was shocked that there isn’t an alert to let you know if the doors aren’t properly sealed. You dropped the ball on that one Whirlpool! What happened to the loud dings until the door was shut? I was told by salesperson that my only alternative was to purchase a “smart refrigerator” which I do not want or need.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
