Poor ice maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator is nice but I'm not satisfied with the ice maker..I purchased this fridge on Memorial day and still have yet to see even a half of container of ice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm happy with this refrigerator because it has lots of usable space. My old refrigerator was .5 cu. ft. larger but storage was not as usable as this new one. Ice maker and water dispenser are convenient and quiet.

I do not like that the ice maker shoots out pieces of ice like it's crushed and goes in the floor. I have to use a wide mouthed cup and shield it while getting ice. Then put it in another go cup or glass

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Refrigerator works as needed. That being said I would like to state I do not like the ice maker in this unit. Ice is slow to make compared to our old unit. We have never had a full bin of ice since this unit was installed. Light controls are useless as you have to turn it on before you get ice or water or you get no light. Also light location is not convenient to see into the cup you are filling. We are currently satisfied with this unit.
I would recommend this to a friend!
