[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We decided to buy this side by side refrigerator after using one with with a freezer drawer in the bottom. The Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator we had was design failure. Ice would fall behind the drawer and you would have to perform a yoga move to get it out (of course the drawer would not close until you did) The refrigerator would not hold much because of the support brackets for the shelves took up too much room to be able to put larger items on it. All that being said, that is why we decided to buy the Whirlpool side by side this time, opting to go for a more simple style of fridge.
We've had this refrigerator for about two months and so far, we are loving it. I love that the shelves slide in on the sides making for more room than the ones that hook on the back of the fridge. Even though it is less interior square footage than the design of our last fridge, it is designed where I can hold larger items and even multiple shelves can hold gallon size. I also like the simplicity of just lifting a lever to shut off the ice maker. I can also view what is in my freezer so much better now that I am using a side by side. I'm not having a problem with milk going sour in my refrigerator (before the expire date) any more...what's up with that. The finish is beautiful too. Even though my last fridge boasted no fingerprints, it seemed that it was always marred up with smudges. Our new Whirlpool does not do that and always looks beautiful. Now if this refrigerator just last for years, I will be so happy.

No finger prints refrigerator

Great shelving
