Worst refrigerator I’ve ever had

Does the Job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty average refrigerator it does the job the space is decent. One thing I do not like is the ice/water dispenser I find the lip of my cup frequently hitting the waterspout and shooting water down the front of the refrigerator. Also, I feel like the ice maker should produce ice quicker.

Basic Side by Side

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as a replacement for my 18 year old GE that had finally decided to die. While it is pretty nice for a mid range appliance there are some shortcomings.
1. No under shelf drawers. I had to purchase an aftermarket drawer that clips on under the shelf for ease of access. The bottom drawers are low and not very convenient.
2: No humidity control on the drawers. my old GE had this feature which made it easier to have a dry storage drawer.
3. No drawer temp control. Another feature my GE had that enabled me to control the temp of the bottom drawer as it can get colder than the rest of the box.
4. It has developed a loud buzzing noise while running. I had to open a warranty case for this noise. Turns out that the cold air circulation fan in the freezer compartment has developed this issue where as it runs it get louder and louder. The fan is mounted with clip in mounts to the bracket holding it with is not stable and doesn't seem very sturdy. I haven't gotten the parts replaced yet but am unsure if this will be a lasting repair. Why wasn't a screw based mounting with rubber vibration isolation used? Ease of assembly at the cost of reliable noise and vibration reduction.
5. Ice and water controls. The water dispenser actuator switch is in front of the ice dispenser actuator. If you aren't really careful when using the ice dispenser, you my trigger the water dispenser and then water streams out over the front of the freezer door and sometimes a poorly place pant leg or worse a bare leg. My old GE had the water and ice dispensers through the door as well but side by side. much more user friendly.

The appliance seems to be functional. I don't feel it will last more than 7 to 10 years. It is a fair value for the money.

Works well except ice maker takes a while
