happy with it. The last Whirlpool refrigerator we had lasted 33 years--no repairs during that time--

I wish I could have heard this refrigerator run before I bought it. It's extremely loud, the loudest refrigerator I've ever owned. The sound is irritating to listen to. It also doesn't have a deli drawer, just a shelf. I don't know who in the company thought this product was good enough to put in someone's kitchen, but they should be fired.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hate! Thought I’d like a side by side versus freezer drawer in bottom half. So wrong. No room in frig for anything. Big regret. Called to exchange. Was told no. Over 48 hrs and had to be in original pack.

Just okay

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the fridge design, space and features considering this is a low end model. There are two things that I absolutely hate about this fridge.
1) The fridge is VERY loud when it kicks on. It is annoying loud! Its so loud that I had my husband check with a noise meter to see if it was above the product specification! Turns out it is on the high end of the specification so I can't justify calling it in. I feel like it is unacceptably loud but since we are moving out and the property will be a rental, we are willing to live with it for the next month.
2) There is no way to stop the fridge from rolling on its wheels. Remember those older models where you had feet that could be raised and lowered to take the weight off the wheels!?...well it appears this fridge doesn't have that. When you tug on the fridge, it will roll forward.
