Not a great ice/water design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get my first ice/water in the door refrigerator. Unfortunately, I get them at the same time. Everytime I go to get ice, the glass presses them both and water goes everywhere. Terrible design. The inside is ok, I don't dislike features, although top is frozen, bottom is significantly warmer. I learned where the temp changes and store accordingly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wonderful Product ! Bad Contractor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product is great, but I love this refrigerator. I bought over 10 appliances from Whirlpool in the last five years and I love their products. My brother used to work for Whirlpool but he died of cancer in 1992. I really had a bad experience with a Whirlpool contractor with Preferred Appliance his name was Andy L. and it was the worst technician I've ever had. He refused to level my refrigerator and he insulted me and cussed me out. I complain to Preferred Appliance in Lexington, Kentucky and I hope the guy gets fired because he’s giving Whirlpool a bad name for the brand. I’m a 74 yr old disabled veteran and he really gave me a good dose of elder abuse. Daniel Ray

Terrible product....buyer beware.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit August 2nd and as of August 18th, or 2 weeks later, I was calling for service!!! The fridge is not cooling properly even though its been set to high and the freezer is not freezing the ice cream; it is still "mushy after 4 days in the freezer. I think you sell an inferior product and, as such, it will reflect in my reviews. Never again,,,,,

Hinges came misaligned so the doors sit uneven. We have had this 6 months and have had to get the ice maker repaired twice. Now the water filter is stuck and we’re unable to get it out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
