No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Refrigerator came missing ice make shut off arm.
Not surte if it was to have one or not.
Had to reboot ice make to get it to work.

Just Okay

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had several fridges before this one. This one is just okay. I would not purchase this again. The poorly designed ice-maker works well but takes up too much space in the freezer, especially for the poorly designed ice & water dispenser on the front that accidentally gets water when you want ice--everyone gets a little mess the first and second times they use the dispenser.
I dislike that the sides are not stainless--they're black. It's like half-baked. Though I understand the black painted sides help to reduce the price, which is why it's in the "economy" budget.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The water leaks always when you use the water in the door. The handprints stay on the refrigerator but not any of our other appliances that we own do this. I’m talking the stove, dishwasher, oven and microwave. The same holds true for our washing machine and dryer. Hate the refrigerator!

Runs loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's quite loud - I had hoped that this was just during the initial two days while it was working hard to chill the freezer and refrigerator but this seems to be its regular background noise level. The ice dispenser also has a very loud startup sound when you first trigger the switch. We've only had it for one week so we haven't had time to settle on an opinion about its layout or ability to keep food cold or frozen.
