Very Stylish and simple to use

1. The frig door needs to be leveled better as it slams to the side upon opening;
2. Doesn't come with a crisper like the WRS315

Happy With My New Whirlpool Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recent purchase & installation (10/18/2024) so rating is on first impressions Great value. Have successfully owned previous Whirlpool refrigerator for 13.5 years so wanted to replace it with another Whirlpool product. So far, am pleased with my decision. Looks good, functioning well. The only thing that is a bit bothersome is the metallic/slightly chemical taste to the water from the dispenser which may be due to the new hose connecting water source to refrigerator. I’ve run at least 8 gallons of water through to start, but water still retains slight metallic taste. My previous Whirlpool refrigerator used Everydrop filter 3 and the water was wonderfully tasteless. This new model uses Everydrop 1. Wrong manual came with the new refrigerator.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ok refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Refrigerator came with our new house. We've already had issues 3 times in month with water dispenser not working for 2-3 days at a time for no apparent reason. Also is very loud running at night.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works but Loud Operation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our GE frig lasted 22 years and within that time we replaced the ice maker twice, but other than that, it performed as expected until the compressor died.
Unfortunately, the same GE frig was not available, therefore, we opted to purchase the Whirlpool
(1030901 24.6 cu. ft. side by side) due to the similar configuration/doors and the price point.

We have been using the Whirlpool for 3 weeks and thus far it keep everything cool in the frig and frozen in the freezer using the recommended settings. Regretfully, the compressor/operation noise is about twice that of the GE which we find extremely annoying.
The ice maker works fine and dispenses standard cubes without hesitation; however, when attempting to get crushed ice the unit is laboring extremely to crush the ice and makes horrible noises.
Also, occasionally it throws the storage container into such a bind due to the torque it locks up the ice auger and requires difficult removal of the ice storage container. This is another thing we find extremely annoying!

It is my opinion if the ice maker lasts six months I will be impressed and time can only tell the overall performance and longevity of the unit.

New build
