[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really like the fridge, but set as cold as it goes, and it only gets to low to mid 40's in temperature, my old one was always in the upper 30's set on medium, planning on having someone look at it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fridge is easy to store food in both sides, but the top fridge shelf is too deep to reach the back easily. The freezer half is designed well. The ice water and ice dispensers both work well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit could be good value for the price or maybe it is just worth the price. The condenser motor vibrates and make too much noise. Knock the unit and it may stop for a while. I can not pull out the unit to look at the back because the plastic front wheel broke The Produce drawer frame has broken twice. At 6 months and 13 months. The top shelf freezes items. Ice maker is slow in ice production. Hey it looks good and keeps my items cold
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this refrigerator as a replacement to our dinosaur Whirlpool. Overall we have been fairly satisfied. There are a few things that are frustrating with it. On the right side (“ideal setting used”) where the refrigerator compartment is, the top shelf gets so cold that somethings actually start to freeze. We’ve had to throw away some produce and move some things away like milk or juice from there. Another issue is how slow the ice maker churns out ice. We are a family of five and at most use the ice 5-10x/ day (5-7 cubes per cup at a time). With it completely empty and with a fresh filter we noted it took a three day weekend (is being gone) for the ice to get near to full. That’s extremely slow and disappointing. It’s also common for us to accidentally hit the water Spicket while trying to get ice and then we get water on the floor. They’re too close together and the icemaker is meant for small cups not bigger ones to fit underneath. There should’ve been more room. Other than that it keeps things cold and things frozen! So we’re pretty happy there.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like a side by side and got at a good price after I fell victim to one of those faulty LG's and a failed compressor. Happy to have a functioning refrigerator again in our main kitchen. I only hope it will last as long as my ancient Frigidaire in the basement. My only complaint this early in my posession is that it is much louder as it runs than the LG it replaced. My wife wanted to return it within the first week. We did not and have become accustomed to the sound. I would only recommend as a good quality basic unit. Too bad you can't always experience them operating in a home like environment before choosing.
