Very Satisfied

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this new Whirlpool because our previous Whirlpool just died after 21 years. This new one is great! The freezer has a lot of space and adjustable shelving. The only knock my wife has is that this refrigerator doesn't have a small drawer that was used for hot dogs, lunch meat, and sliced cheese. Other than that, we are very satisfied with our new Whirlpool refrigerator.

Features Don't Live Up to Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the price I paid, I was expecting the quality I had with the LG it replaced. The two crisper trays are light plastic, one is shallow, and both stick as the slide in and out - not smooth at all, as if they don't actually fit the glides. The interior needs one more shelf - it seems to leave a lot of unusable space on each of the two double-height cubicals. The water dispenser area is too small, really only fits a standard tumbler, where I could previously fit my coffee carafe on the LG. Getting ice in anything but a small to medium cup or mug is also not a straight shot. The lack of exact temperature controls is also something I miss. I choose from cold, less cold, and colder on the freezer, with 5 snowflake choices in the fridge. No really happy with this unit - I thought it was only slightly smaller than the LG, turns out it is 2 cu. ft. smaller, and it shows.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
