Looks good but difficult to care for

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It looks great new, works great but ice maker difficult to turn on & off and whirlpool says only use soap and water on finish which doesn’t clean well. Leaves dull film. Says stainless steal cleaner will harm the finish. Not practical.

Loud Noice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a brand new refrigerator using it from last 15 days. It hear a load noice from this machine. Not sure it has some issue or it is how the machine works

Had to buy a new refrigerator replacing my 30 year old side by side Hot Point workhorse. And started noticing problems within 2 days.
1. Ice maker. This ice maker only makes 24 Ice cubes in a 24 hour time period. Called customer service after several days of not producing ice to fill up large bin. They sent a service technician out who replaced my ice maker but said this is a problem with this model and see if it is any better. But it was not. Also informed me about problem #2 I was having.
2. Waisted space in back that food can not go into or will freeze everything on top shelf and left side of refrigerator. Extra 2 inches in back is not usable space and nothing stops food from sliding back into space.
3. Dripping from Ice maker dispensing area. I have to keep a cup under area to catch water drips.
4. Water dispenser great for filling up large cups and jugs but don't bump it while getting ice or you will get wet. Along with front of fridge and floor.
5. Drawers that hold vegetables and meat very breakable. Have already had to replace a drawer and the drawer holder, both broke.
6. Ice holder compartment had to be replaced also. Got a hole as big as my fist in bottom.
7. Cleaning vent/coils underneath. Vents are not accessible. You can only vacuum front one. The rest are being that and are in horizontal instead of vertical. Can't get to back ones.
Last but not least and most serious of all issues
8. Cleaning freezer on 10-11-2023 , wiping down back of the freezer down where water drips. Ran my wash clothe across area and it did a number on my finger. The metal that sits on top of plastic gave me very very deep cut on my middle finger. Ended up having to got to URGENT CARE to get STITCHES and a Tetanus shot.
Needless to say... DO NOT BUY THIS REFRIGERATOR!!!!

I had to buy plastic boxes to put freezer items in so they don’t fall out.
Don’t know why these side by sides don’t have drawers to store freezer items in. Would be major improvement.
